Pine-Richland QB Aaron Strader Jr. Receives 1st Power Four Offer

Pine-Richland junior Aaron Strader Jr. is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the WPIAL.
Strader (5’11”, 170-pounds) led Pine-Richland to the 2024 WPIAL 5A Championship and was named a 1st team all-conference player after throwing for over 1,800 yards, 20 passing touchdowns, 385 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns.
Thursday was a huge day for Strader, and it could really jump start his recruitment as he received his 1st Power Four offer.
After traveling to Syracuse to participate in a prospects camp, Strader received an offer from head coach Fran Brown.

Prior to yesterday, Strader’s list of offers included Hampton University, Kent State, Youngstown State, Akron, Sacramento State, Miami Ohio and Central Michigan.
Strader has been putting in a ton of work at carious prospect camps as well as working with local quarterback instructor Mike McMahon.

Strader becomes the 3rd young WPIAL quarterback that the Syracuse staff has offered within the last year- 2028 Anthony Smith (Seton LaSalle) and 2028 Owen Herrick (Central Catholic).
