Pitt FB Recruiting
Two Additional Pitt Football Official Visitors

Today begins day two of Pitt official visitors this week with things wrapping up tomorrow morning.
At the beginning of this week, Pittsburgh Sports Now reported on six visitors that we confirmed. That list included: 4-star OT Day’Jon Moore, 3-star wide receiver Bryan Hamilton, 3-star cornerback Isaiah McMillan, 3-star safety Davis Kinney, 4-star tight end Zach Turner, 3-star wide receiver Ace Theus and 3-star offensive tackle Landry Brede.
Since then, we’ve confirmed that 2 more players have traveled to town, making it eight official visitors.
Corey Daily: a 6-foot-6, 185-pound 3-star quarterback from Seguin High School in Seguin, Texas. Back in March, Dailey traveled to Pittsburgh to attend a Pitt Spring practice.
During his visit, he had the opportunity to check out the city and history of the program, while also meeting with head coach Pat Narduzzi and other staff members as they continue to show why they want him.
“Coach Bell, Coach Narduzzi and Coach Kline they all like my play style and think I would fit perfectly into their offense,” Dailey said.
The idea of joining a recruiting class that already has a quarterback like Pitt is not detracting Dailey.
“Two QBs in a class doesn’t bother me no matter what. With the portal these days, you’re going to have to go in and compete against somebody either that’s a high school signee or someone out of the portal.”
Dailey has other Division I offers primarily at the FCS level from Texas State, Tulane, UTSA, UTRGV, Fordham, Lamar and Incarnate Word.
As a junior, Dailey completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,529 yards and 35 touchdowns, while adding six rushing scores on the ground.

Desmond Johnson: 3-star linebacker from Northwestern High School in Miami, Florida. Johnson has already made an official visit to Central Florida.
Johnson was originally scheduled to visit next weekend but it was moved up a week.
Johnson holds an attractive list of offers that includes Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Louisville, Mississippi State, Wake Forest, Florida State, Michigan, NC State, South Florida and SMU.
Johnson received his offer from Pitt back in February.
