Update (8:28 PM)- 

Akron continues to delve into the WPIAL with offers across the board and three more players benefited from that. Pine-Richland defensive back Elijah Hill, along with Bishop Canevin’s Minikon Johnson and Damar Olds received offers from the Zips on Saturday.

For Hill, it comes as the first Division I offer in his recruitment. Out of the 2028 class, Hill stands at 6-foot, 165 pounds.

Johnson — a 6-2, 205-pound 2027 edge rusher — has now picked up three offers in 24 hours with West Virginia, Kent State and Akron getting involved. Olds — a 5-11, 175-pound 2026 athlete for the Crusaders — holds offers from both Akron and Kent State.

Update (7:04 PM)- 

**A couple days after picking up his first Power 4 offer from Syracuse, Pine-Richland 2027 quarterback Aaron Strader Jr. received an offer from Marshall.

Update (6:49 Pm)-

**After receiving his first D-1 offer yesterday from West Virginia, Bishop Canevin 2027 DE Minikon Johnson received an offer today from Kent State.

Update (7:55 AM)-
**The Duquesne football program held a prospects camp last night and afterwards, they rewarded two local players with offers. Congrats to Mt. Lebanon 2026 DL and OT Jackson Kraemer and Central Catholic 2026 athlete Maceo Watkins. At this point in their recruitment, Kraemer holds offers from James Madison, Stony Brook, Robert Morris and Albany. Watkins reports offers from Albany, Georgetown, Morgan State, Navy, Sacramento State, UNLV, New Hampshire and Akron.

Update (7:42 AM)-
**A couple of local offers for Steel Valley 2026 defensive back Da’Ron Barksdale as he earns offers from both Duquesne and Robert Morris. Barksdale (5’11”, 175-pounds) is a Rivals 3-star recruit with reported offers from Akron, Pitt, Syracuse, Temple, UNLV, West Virginia, Sacramento State, Kent State, James Madison, UMass, Bowling Green and UConn.

Update (7:30 AM)-

**Congrats to Bishop Canevin 2027 linebacker/edge rusher Minikon Johnson for receiving an offer from West Virginia, which becomes his first D-1 offer. Johnson (6’2″, 205-pounds) had a breakout sophomore season and should see his stock rise in 2025.

Update (7:19 AM)-

**After attending a prospects camp at Youngstown State, South Fayette 2026 DE/OT Colton Astorino picked up an offer from Youngstown State. This becomes the second offer for Astorino (6’7″, 275) to go with his first one from Seton Hill. Astorino has been showing off his skills lately at local camps attending ones at Duquesne, Robert Morris and will be going to upcoming ones at Pitt and West Virginia.
