The Pitt coaching staff led by offensive coordinator Kade Bell and wide receivers coach JJ Laster has struck again when it comes to landing speedy talent from Florida.
Pitt has secured a commitment from 2026 three-star wide receiver Bryan Hamilton out of Gaither High School in Tampa, Fla. Hamilton committed while on his visit but did not make it public until today.

Hamilton becomes the fourth wide receiver in the Pitt class to go alongside four-star Jaydon Dunbar out of Georgia and fellow Floridians in three-star Dylan Wester and three-star Demetrice McCray.
The Panthers land Hamilton over other offers from Wisconsin, Kansas State, Arizona, Duke, Wake Forest, FAU, Army, Coastal Carolina, Charlotte.
What stands out about Hamilton is certainly his speed. The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder clocked a 4.40 40-yard dash at the Under Armour Next Camp Series in Orlando. He has also put together a 10.66 time in the 100-meter on the track.
Hamilton possesses a lot of the skills Bell and Laster are looking for in their receiver room. He’s quick and his elusiveness makes it hard to bring him down. He’s the type of player that you can give the ball to, and he’ll make something happen. On top of that, he has the speed to take the top off the defense and has great ball skills.
As a junior, Hamilton led Gaither with 50 receptions for 818 yards (16.4 avg.) and eight touchdowns, according to MaxPreps. He also added 133 kick return yards and was a key defensive back for the Cowboys.
On3 rates Hamilton as a three-star prospect, the No. 161 wide receiver in the class and 116th player out of Florida.
Pitt now stands at 19 commitments in the 2026 class with four coming during the second weekend of official visits that included Hamilton, four-star offensive lineman Day’Jon Moore, three-star quarterback Corey Dailey and three-star linebacker Desmond Johnson.
