Pitt All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each member of the Pitt 2025 training camp roster. In order to prepare for Pitt football’s 2025 season, PSN is breaking down every player on the roster in alphabetical order. Next up is safety Allen Bryant.

Safety Allen Bryant enters his redshirt freshman season at Pitt looking to earn a spot on the two-deep roster in a competitive safety room.

Height: 6-foot
Weight: 180 pounds
Hometown: Pahokee, Fla.

2024: Bryant appeared in four regular-season games, along with the Toledo GameAbove Bowl as he preserved a redshirt. He did not record any stats as he primarily saw action on kick offs and as a gunner on punts.

Camp outlook: Bryant did not participate much in team drills during spring camp and missed the Blue-Gold spring game as he worked back from an injury. The upcoming fall camp will be key in his development as he looks to return 100 percent healthy.

He will look to standout in camp as a younger safety as he battles with several other players for a depth spot in the room.

Projected role: While Bryant may not crack the two-deep at first, there’s a very big possibility he could either find his way into the mix by the end of the season either via injuries opening up an opportunity or just hard work and talent pushing him into more playing time.

He has great speed and is athletic enough to find his way on the field. At this point, it will come down to where he stands with his second year learning the defense.

The top four safeties in some order will most likely be Javon McIntyre, Cruce Brookins, Kavir Bains-Marquez and Jesse Anderson. From there, Bryant is right on the door step. He’ll battle against true freshmen Cole Woodson and Josh Guerrier.

At St. Thomas Aquinas, he was a productive defensive back as he compiled 49 tackles, eight pass breakups and two interceptions as a senior. During his junior season, he notched 44 tackled, four pass breakups, an interception and fumble recovery.

He was a three-star prospect that picked Pitt over offers from Appalachian State, Cincinnati, FAU, Liberty, Louisville, Memphis, Temple, Virginia and West Virginia.
