Head coach Dru Joyce believes that the Duquesne basketball program can attract top talent and his extending offers to all levels of recruits.

This morning, Duquesne went after a big talent in one of the top forwards in the Class of 2026.

4-star forward Shane Pendergrass from Hargrave Military Academy announced that he’d received an offer from Duquesne.

The 6’10” forward is ranked by both 247 Sports and Rivals as one of the Top 100 players in the Class of 2026 along with being of the top 20 forwards. Along with Duquesne, Pendergrass holds offers from Maryland, George Mason, Iowa, Seton Hall, San Diego, California, LaSalle, VCU, Virginia Tech, George Washington, Saint Joseph’s, St. Bonaventure and Texas A&M.

Over the last week, Pendergrass has been one of the top performers at the DMV Live event.
