Pitt FB Recruiting
PA Safety Julius Fuentes-Bream a Priority Recruit for Pitt in 2027

Strong relationships are a huge factor in college recruiting, which is something that’s led to a strong Class of 2026 for Pitt.
One of the reoccurring themes from the 21 players that have committed to Pitt this year is the strong relationship and bond they’ve created with members of the coaching staff.
The relationship building is something that started months ago and will continue to be worked on over the coming months.
As the majority of Pitt’s Class of 2026 is in place, the coaches have already started working on relationship building with players in next year’s class.
One of the many players that’s happening with is 2027 safety Julis Fuentes-Bream from Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Along with Pitt, Bream (6’2″, 190) holds offers from Arkansas, California, Cincinnati, Colorado State, Liberty, Louisville, Minnesota, Missouri, Ole Miss, Sacramento State, Toledo, UCLA and Wisconsin.

From the looks of things, Bream is a pretty big priority for Pitt. Usually in recruiting, a player gets recruited by the team’s area recruiter along with the head coach.
It’s been a bit different with Bream as the entire Pitt coaching staff has sent him letters, messages and expressed their interest in him.
I think it’s safe to say that Julius Fuentes-Bream is a priority for Pitt.
Pittsburgh Sports Now had the chance to talk with Bream to get his early thoughts on Pitt, how they’re recruiting him and how his summer is going.
“My summer’s been going good,” said Bream. “I just have been sticking to football every day. I’m not really going on any vacations just wanna keep working towards this upcoming season.”
“My goal this summer is honing in on my skills, really tightening up everything to the point that there’s no errors. I just want to be a consistent player that’s playing at the top of my game every day that I come out to compete. Right now, I feel like I do everything pretty good but I need to take things to the next level and make my game great.”

Pitt isn’t the only program that’s aggressively recruiting this talented defensive back as his mailbox has been filled with letters from various Power 4 programs. However, Pitt is the program that’s been recruiting him as hard as anyone and that’s something that Bream has noticed.
“Pitt has shown a lot of interest in me and I have interest in them too,” said Bream. “That’s good because being from Pennsylvania and receiving that sort of interest from a major in-state school. Pitt has been very consistent with me going back to last season until now. That means a lot to me in my recruiting process and that’s why they stand pretty high on my list. I just like the love I receive from more than just my position coach. I receive letters from Coach Narduzzi, the offensive coordinator, the defensive coordinator, Coach Collins, Coach Sanders, they all have been showing me love.”

“That has been big for me because I’m a person that’s big on relationships. I wanna go somewhere where I’m appreciated and I can talk to my coaching staff about anything and more than just football. I’m big into relationships and that’s definitely a big factor that’s gonna be in my decision. Coach Sanders, Coach Collins and Coach Narduzzi have led my recruitment. They’re always checking in on me and my family. They’re telling me that it was good to have me down there (in March) and they can’t wait to get me back.”
Bream tells PSN that he will be making a GameDay visit to Pitt this fall and also said that two other programs that have been recruiting him consistently lately are Penn State and Minnesota.
