6 • Aaron Mathews, senior wide receiver

Camp outlook: Perhaps no player is in line to benefit more from the change in offensive coordinator than Mathews, who has averaged 11.6 yards per catch in his three years at Pitt, but only has 31 catches despite making 12 starts. Even more shockingly, the 6-foot-4 receiver has never caught a touchdown pass.
Projected role: Mathews is a prototypical X receiver with his size and build, but Pitt four experienced receivers with Maurice Ffrench, Mathews, Taysir Mack and Tre Tipton that will all probably rotate.
