Pitt Missing Handful of Starters Including Kenny Pickett
Pitt will take on Delaware this afternoon without a handful of regulars including starting quarterback Kenny Pickett.
Alan Saunders reports although Pickett was announced as the starter, he hasn’t warmed up with the quarterbacks and isn’t going to start. Redshirt freshman Nick Patti will make his first college start. Keep in mind, Pickett left last weeks game with a shoulder injury.
Pitt also announced that Jason Pinnock, Chase Pine, Elias Reynolds, Albert Tucker, A.J. Davis, Vincent Davis and Kyle Vreen were scratched. No word given as to why any of these players are out although Pinnock left last game injured.
