7-footer Neal Quinn Hears from Pitt, Many Other HM Programs Upon Entering Portal

Although the Panthers still have at least one more game to go this season, the staff has already begun to contact players in the transfer portal in an attempt to recruit them for next year’s team.
On Monday, the same day that he entered the portal, 7-foot center Neal Quinn told Pittsburgh Sports Now that he has already heard from Pitt, among others. Associate head coach Milan Brown contacted Quinn, and while the conversation was limited, the two are expecting to speak on a call soon.
The All-Patriot League selection started 29 of Lafayette’s 30 games this season and averaged 14.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. He is a native of Wyckoff, New Jersey, and attended Ramapo High School.
Quinn told PSN that in addition to Pitt, he also heard from Arkansas, NC State. Georgia Tech, Loyola Chicago, Richmond, Seton Hall, Ohio State, Illinois and more on the first day of his portal presence. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
