The 2022 WPIAL Football season officially kicks off tonight with Week 0 games.

Pittsburgh Sports Now will once again provide you with coverage of a number of the top games of the night along with an updated scoreboard throughout the evening.

We’re also excited to tell you about a new feature to our high school football coverage this season.

Brandon Rossi, a young journalist with a wealth of WPIAL football knowledge, will be hosting his ‘WPIAL WHIP AROUND’ on Pittsburgh Sports Now every Friday.

In the inaugural episode of the WPIAL Whip Around, Rossi previews all 6 WPIAL classifications, addresses the hazing controversies, and previews the top games around Week 0.
