Bynum is a 5-foot-10 guard out of Largo, Maryland who averaged 10 points per game this season for the Friars. He played three seasons for the program, averaging at least 10 points per game in two of the three. Bynum began his career with one season at St. Joseph’s.
Bynum shot 38% from the field this past season, as well as 32% from three-point range. Bynum is scheduled to take an official visit to Stanford, and is also being recruited by Florida.
Pitt is currently focused on Rhode Island guard Ishmael Leggett, who is slated to visit this weekend. The Panthers earned their first transfer commitment of the offseason earlier this week, as High Point transfer Zack Austin pledged his commitment to the Panthers.
