Update, 1 p.m.: Zachary Gleason Jr. — a 6-foot, 165-pound athlete from Chartiers Valley in Bridgeville, Pa. in the class of 2027 — received his first Division I offer from Akron. He received the offer from safeties coach Neal Renna and special teams coordinator Ryan Matviko.
Gleason is fresh off a strong performance at the Pitt Rising Stars camp over the weekend.

Update, noon: Brendan Alexander, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound three-star offensive lineman from Central Valley in Monaca, Pa., is taking an unofficial visit to West Virginia today, he announced on social media.
Alexander holds offers from Akron, Arkansas, Boston College, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, UConn, Duke, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami (Oh.), Michigan State, North Carolina State, Penn State, Pitt, Stanford, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

UPDATE, 7 a.m.: On Sunday evening, Pitt extended an offer to an offensive lineman from Georgia. The Panthers reached out to Torian Chester, a 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive lineman in the Class of 2025 from Westover High School in Albany, Georgia.
Pitt is the first Power Four offer for Chester, who previously received interest from Buffalo, Central Michigan, Colorado State, East Carolina, FAU, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Liberty, Troy, Tulane and UAB.
Chester said that Pitt offensive line coach Jeremy Darveau was the one to extend him the offer.
