WATCH: Brandon George, Players Talk Syracuse Win, SMU

PITTSBURGH — Pitt football linebacker Brandon George, offensive lineman BJ Williams and defensive lineman Nick James spoke with the media Tuesday afternoon on the South Side regarding the Panthers’ win over Syracuse and their upcoming matchup with SMU.

George detailed his interception that he hauled in on the ground, along with the linebacker corps’ pick-sixes against Syracuse. He talked about the rise of the ‘sharks’ and how they have been able to be so dominant.

The sixth-year senior also discussed facing SMU’s offense and defending the RPO.

Williams spoke about Pitt’s offensive line and the work it has done when dealing with injuries this season.

On the defensive line, James has been pointed at as the best defensive tackle for the Panthers. He spoke on Tuesday about stopping the run, getting Sean FitzSimmons back and the defensive dominance.
