Duquesne initially extended an offer to Pendergrass back on June 26. Some of the other offers he cut from his list include Maryland, Texas A&M, Iowa, VCU, Saint Joseph’s and more.
In four games at the 2025 Pangos All-American camp, he recorded 12.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, while shooting 48.8 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three-point range.
Pendergrass is rated as a four-star recruit, per 247Sports, the No. 18 power forward and seventh-best player out of Virginia in the 2026 class. On3/Rivals rates him as a four-star prospect and the 107th player in the nation.
