**2026 defensive end Anthony Charles from South Fayette has been one of the fastest-rising recruits in the WPIAL and picked up offers in the last couple of hours from Akron and Sacramento State. Charles (6-foot-5) has received additional offers from Syracuse, West Virginia, Toledo, Penn State, Michigan State and Minnesota.

**This afternoon, Pitt’s Lindsey Lamar made a visit to see 2026 3-star cornerback CJ Hester from Cocoa, Florida. Hester (6’1”, 175-pounds) holds offers from Florida, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan State, South Florida, Syracuse, Central Florida and West Virginia.

**Two more major Power 4 offers for WPIAL players as Pine-Richland 2026 3-star DB Jay Timmons picks up an offer from Iowa while Peters Township 2026 4-star LB Reston Lehman gets a Michigan State offer.

**This afternoon, Pitt DC Randy Bates extends an offer to 2026 athlete Davis Kinney from Richmond, Texas. This becomes the first Power 4 offer for Kinney (6’0, 185).

Update (1:12 PM)- 

**Peters Township 2026 TE/DE Lucas Shanafelt received his latest D-1 offer this morning from Akron. Shanafelt (6’4”, 235) holds others from Pitt, Lehigh, Fordham, Harvard, Miami Ohio, Cornell, Buffalo, Toledo, Penn, Eastern Michigan.

**A couple of recent offers to get you updated on-
-Pitt extends an offer to 2027 cornerback Sherrod Gourdine from Hollywood, Florida. Gourdine (5’11”, 175-pounds) received the news from Kade Bell. Along with Pitt, Gourdine holds other offers from Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami and South Florida.
-Pitt offers 2027 safety Jayln Jones from Western High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jones holds Power 4 offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Missouri, Oregon State, Texas A&M and Central Florida.
-Penn Hills 2027 athlete Carter Bonner received an offer this morning from Kentucky. Bonner (6’3″, 180-pounds) holds other offers from Pitt, Akron, UConn, Maryland, Michigan State, Penn State, UNLV and West Virginia.

**For the second time today, Pitt extends an offer to a big-time freshman as this one goes to defensive end Luke Nabors from Buford, Georgia. Nabors (6’3″, 175-pounds) has also been offered by Auburn, Florida State, Miami, SMU, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Central Florida, Michigan and USC.

**This morning, Ryan Manalac and Pitt extend an offer to 2028 athlete Tahj Gray from New Jersey. Despite only being a freshman, Gray (6’3”, 208) already holds offers from Tennessee, Illinois, North Carolina, UMass, Duke, Rutgers, Penn State, Akron, Syracuse and Boston College.

Update (10:30 AM)- 

**Two more offers for 2026 3-star tight end Adam Gehm from Seneca Valley High School. Gehm (6’6”, 230-pounds) received new offers from Louisville and Tulane. Prior to that, Gehm held ones from East Carolina, Maryland, Miami Ohio, Syracuse, Toledo, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Update (10:10 AM)- 

**On Monday, Peters Township 2026 4-star LB Reston Lehman (6’4”, 240) received two more Power 4 offers: Rutgers, Iowa and Syracuse. Lehman is one of the fastest rising recruits in Pennsylvania.
