Ohio Athlete Gets Pitt Offer

Published

Pat Narduzzi and his staff had a bunch of success last year recruiting the stare of Ohio, landing players like Thomas MacVittie, Ruben Flowers, Bryce Hargrove, George Hill and Chawntez Moss. This year, linebacker Kyle Nunn from Findlay, Ohio has already given Pitt a verbal.  This morning, the Panthers offered another player from The Buckeye State.

OLB/RB Cam Bright (6-1, 215) from North Ridgeville, Ohio received the news this morning from Pitt.

“The call from Pitt was unexpected, I had just finished my 2nd day of spring ball, and Coach Hill,  the cornerbacks  coach at Pitt gave me a call”, said Bright. “It was a good phone call, we had a brief conversation and I liked the good things he said about my film.”

“They are recruiting me as an outside linebacker. They loved my hustle plays and the way I break down at point of attack on the ball carrier.  Coach Hill said it’s like you mirror your opponent when he has the ball in his hands.  I really liked that comment about my film”, said Bright.

Bright told me that he believes strongest part of his game is his mental approach and his desire to play the game.  He says he “loves making game time plays.”

Bright also has offers from Bowling Green and Miami (OH) but this offer is special to him.

“The offer is a very big deal to me. It’s close to home, I want to play ball up north close to home, and it is my first big time offer #ACC , so I am very appreciative of the offer from Pitt.”

” I love the Pitt fan base, and they’re  showing me lots of love already via Twitter”, said Bright.

Bright says that he will be making a visit to Pitt this summer but isn’t ready just yet to make a verbal commitment to any school.
