Could Pitt be adding a highly rated recruit to their Class of 2019?
2020 4-Star offensive tackle Branson Taylor (Elyria, Ohio) announces Friday night that he’d be choosing between Pitt and West Virginia.

In order to get down to Pitt and WVU, Taylor eliminated schools such as Michigan State, Tennessee, Purdue, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kansas, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Maryland, Missouri, Rutgers and Syracuse.
Taylor (6’6”, 290) made his official visit to Pitt back in June and I’m told Taylor will make a decision sometime in September.
With 16 commitments in their Class of 2019, offensive lineman are atop Pitt’s current list of needs.
I think the Coaches at Pitt are doing a great job of recruiting. The one constant I hear the potential recruits talk about is the family atmosphere. I believe more former Alumni need to come back and help out. The guys on the walls and current players in the NFL showing up at Spring games talking to recruits about the Tradition and pride at Pitt. Dan Marino, Russ Grimm, Mark May and others would help out tremendously. Former Miami players are always around and brag about the U, why not Pitt.
