On Friday, one of Pittsburgh’s highly touted young prospects took a big-time visit down to Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Alier Maluk a 6-foot-10 forward out of Imani Christian, took an unofficial visit to Duke to check out the campus and facilities along with USA Basketball coach Joe Stasyszyn.
Maluk was recently invited to USA Basketball Mini Camp after his strong summer of play for All Ohio. Coaches from Michigan State, Pitt, West Virginia, and more programs have been in to watch Maluk work out lately at Imani Christian. Kentucky is also expected to be in next week for him.
Maluk is ranked as the No. 2 center and the No. 21 overall player in the class of 2025 by 247 Sports. He is rated as a five-star prospect by Rivals.
