Dominic Kirks had been scheduled to visit Pitt from June 8-10, but the trip to Pittsburgh has been moved up by a week.

Kirks — a 6-foot-5, 250-pound three-star defensive lineman from Villa Angela St. Joseph in Cleveland, Ohio — will be taking his official visit this weekend, from June 1-3, the first of an official visit schedule that includes Kentucky and Washington.

His visits follow a rapid rise on the camp scene already this summer, earning DL MVP honors at the Under Armor camp in Columbus, earning offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, Rutgers, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Kirks picked up his offer from Pitt back in November, as he made a game visit for Pitt’s win over Duke on Nov. 19, and it marked the first of many Power Five offers.

It will be Kirks first time back in Pittsburgh since that gameday visit, and Pitt will try to wow the two-way star from Villa Angela St. Joseph. He put together a standout season with the Vikings, but his stock didn’t start to rise until February.

With excellent size and length (6-foot-5, 250 pounds), he’s a threat to blow by offensive linemen on the edge or power through them on the inside.

247Sports rates Kirks as the 498th-ranked recruit in the class (49th-ranked defensive lineman and the 16th-ranked recruit from Ohio). On3 rates him as the 28th-ranked defensive lineman and the 11th-ranked recruit from Ohio while Rivals rates him as the 43rd-ranked defensive lineman and 21st-ranked recruit from Ohio.

As of now, Kirks will be visiting Pitt (June 1-3), Kentucky (June 9) and Washington (June 16), so he will be able to add additional visits if he desires.

Pitt currently has commitments from four defensive linemen, including four-star defensive tackle Jahsear Whittington and three-star linemen in Francis Brewu, Zach Crothers and Ty Yuhas.

Kirks will be in Pittsburgh at the same time as four-star defensive end Elias Rudolph.
