PITTSBURGH — Pitt will host a special spectator to its Tuesday night matchup against Duke.
The Panthers are hosting 2025 guard prospect Derek Dixon for the game. Dixon is a 6-foot-4 guard out of Gonzaga in Washington D.C. who holds an offer from Pitt. In addition to Pitt, Villanova, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, and others are involved in Dixon’s recruitment process.
Dixon is ranked as the No. 74 player in the class of 2025 according to 247 Sports’ Composite rankings. Dixon is a four-star prospect, and has been on Pitt’s radar for a while now. The Panthers’ staff extended an offer to Dixon back in October 2022 when he took an unofficial visit to check out the program.

Oh well lost another one, to Duke.
Duke generally only takes 5’s. So no
Another of the same type of player. A 2 Guard. We need some small forwards & a Power forward. A Center would help too. And not a stickman.
