Who Will Fill Out Pitt’s Remaining Scholarships?

Published

on

We only have 20 days until National Letter of Intent Day. Pat Narduzzi and Pitt currently have commitments from 19 players so there’s work still to be done.

How many more players will Pitt take in this class?

I’m being told by a reliable source that Pitt will likely take 25 players this year. If that sticks, that means there are six more commitments to go.

Here’s my guess on how the remaining 6 scholarships will be used.

  • WR (1): Michael Smith
  • DT (2): Jaylen Twyman, possibly Kam Carter
  • CB (1): ??? First player to accept
  • DE (1): My guess would be Noah Curtis or Stephon Zayas
  • Wild Card (1): This could be a surprise commitment or from a recruit like Nathan Proctor, TyJuan Garbutt, AJ Davis. If neither happens, maybe another defensive end.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Pitt received a commitment within the next week. Stay tuned.
