Setting young men on the path to a better future.

After the confetti falls — and for the second-straight year on UConn — the magic of the tournament is captured in “One Shining Moment.”

The song, written by David Barrett, takes fans and viewers on a trip down memory lane of the excitement that the Big Dance brings.

For the first time since the song debuted in 1987 at the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament, you could spot the Duquesne Dukes celebrating victory.

Within the montage, there are sights of Keith Dambrot cherishing his first-ever NCAA Tournament vwin, Halil Barre and Jakub Necas celebrating on the sidelines and Tre Williams stamping Duquesne’s first-round victory on the big bracket board.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

While Duquesne’s tournament win over No. 6 BYU was the storyline in Pittsburgh, there were also a series of games played in the Steel City that found its images included in the video.

Jack Gohlke’s incredible 3-point run leading Oakland to an upset win over No.3 Kentucky, along with the emerging story of the Final Four-bound NC State Wolfpack with DJ Burns taking the spotlight and Oregon’s elite guard Jermaine Couisnard all appeared in the clip.
