**Another big visit by the Pitt coaches today as they visit Florida WR Mike Smith. Coach Narduzzi and Coach Sherman will visit Smith at school and then have an in home visit with him tonight. I would not be shocked if Pitt gets a commitment from him tonight or real soon.

**This morning, Pitt extended an offer to elite 2018 offensive guard Jalil Irvin, from Stone Mountain, Georgia. Jalil is rated 4-stars by 247 Sports with offers from Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and North Carolina.

**Last night, Pitt coaches visited with 4-star DE Tyjuan Garbutt and tonight they’ll be with their other top target. Coach Powell will be in Maryland today with 4-star linebacker Nathan Proctor. I’m also told that Coach Narduzzi will do his in-home visit with Proctor next week. From what I’m told, Proctor might not make his final decision until National Signing Day. Right now, both Pitt and Virginia Tech are even.
