Williams is a 6-foot-5, 235-pound forward who averaged 13.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this past season for the Paladins. The Xenia, Ohio native played in three seasons for Furman, playing at least 25 games in each of the last two seasons. He shot 36% from three-point range in 2022-23, before hitting 40% of his deep attempts this year for a career-best 59 threes.

Williams’ best game of the season statistically came against The Citadel in January. In that game, Williams hit seven of his nine three-point tries and scored 26 points to lead his team to victory.

Joyce has also landed transfer recruits Tre Dinkins (guard from Canisius) as well as Cam Crawford (guard from Marshall) and Jahsean Corbett (Chicago State) this week. Dinkins is a 6-foot-2 guard who scored more than 15 points per game for the Golden Griffins last season, while Crawford averaged 8.2 points per contest a season ago.

Both Crawford and Corbett played against the Dukes last season. In a Duquesne win, Crawford went 9 for 18 from the field, scoring 20 points. Corbett also had a strong outing against the Dukes, scoring 21 points on 10-for-14 shooting and grabbing 11 rebounds in a five-point loss to Keith Dambrot’s squad.
