UPDATE (9:25 PM)-

**One of the many talent issues on this year’s Pitt basketball team is the lack of size in the middle. Tonight, Kevin Stallings offered two players that would help the Panthers with this problem.

6-11 center Chiekh Mbacke Diong, who’s originally from Senegal, and is currently playing for Florida Prep Academy, picked up an offer from the Panthers. Mbacke Diong is in the Class of 2017 and holds offers from UConn, Louisville, Memphis, DePaul and UNLV.

Pitt also another player from the Senegal. 7-0 center Lahat Thioune, who’s only a junior, also received a Pitt offer. Thioune also plays at Florida Prep Academy and has been offered by Louisville and UNLV.

UPDATE (8:52 PM)-

**Kevin Stallings offered a sophomore forward today. Pitt coaches were in Florida and offered 2019 forward Christopher Walker (6-6, 175), who also holds offers from Florida, Louisville, Iowa State, LSU and Georgia Tech.

**For the 3rd time in a week, the Pitt football team has offered a junior tight end. Tonight, the offer went to Matt Alaimo (6-4, 235), who’s from Montvale, New Jersey. Alaimo also has offers from Rutgers and Syracuse.

UPDATE (4:21 PM)-

**Where will Coach Narduzzi be tonight? He’s in North Carolina and will meet with one of Pitt’s defensive end targets. I just spoke with Zion Debose and he told me that Narduzzi will be visiting him at home tonight.

UPDATE (2:46 PM)-

**Big news concerning the future of Nathan Proctor. The star linebacker will make his college decision tomorrow. Proctor will make the final decision tonight as he meets with his family at home. I’ll have much more on this later today.

UPDATE (9:53 AM)-

**Here’s why Florida DE Guy Thomas has scholarship offers from nearly major school in the country and why Pitt is recruiting him so hard. Watch his highlights.

UPDATE (8:07 AM)-

**The big visits yesterday were to DE Tyjuan Garbutt and to LB Nathan Proctor. DC Josh Conklin met with Garbutt at his high school. Last night, 247 Sports reported that Garbutt will make his college decision this Friday. I’m told that it’s 80% Garbutt picks Virginia Tech.

As for Proctor, Pitt is realistically still in the running for the Maryland 4-star linebacker. Various members of the Pitt staff were with Proctor for an in-home visit. Despite what people might be saying, Pitt is still in the running for Proctor. Last night’s visit didn’t hurt Pitt’s chances.

UPDATE (8:01 AM)-

**The talk all night was what did “Pooh to Pitt” mean? Unfortunately I haven’t figured it out YET. Someone in the know suggested to me that Coach could just be having fun.
