It was another day filled with offers from the Pitt coaches.

As the second week of the evaluation period continues, the Panthers’ coaches saw plenty of players that they deemed ACC worthy, offering recruits in seven different states.

This evaluation period for 2018 recruits, which runs through the end of the month, is a chance for the coaches not only to personally watch these players but also start to develop a personal relationship with recruits they’re meeting for the first time.

In case you missed it, here’s a recap of the players that received offers from Pitt.

Mychale Salahuddin: 4-star 2018 running back and the top ranked player in Washington DC. Salahuddin also has offers from USC, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Marcus Dumervil: 2020 defensive tackle from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Pitt is the second offer (East Carolina) for this talented freshman.

Spencer Brown: 2019 offensive tackle from Commerce Township, Michigan. Brown (6-foot-6, 295 pounds) also has early offers from Louisville, Minnesota and Indiana.

D’shawn Jamison: 2018 4-star cornerback from Houston, Texas with offers from TCU, Texas, Baylor, Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State and Tennessee.

Tyneil Hopper: 2018 4-star tight end from Georgia. Hopper is rated as one of the Top Ten tight ends in the country and has offers from Auburn, Kentucky, North Carolina and Illinois

Teriq Phillips: 2018 wide receiver from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 3-star recruit holds offers from Fresno State, Missouri, NC State and Temple.

Jamir Thomas: 2019 linebacker from Massillon, Ohio with early offers from West Virginia, Rutgers, Michigan State, Michigan and Minnesota.

Jaden Davis: 2019 cornerback from St. Thomas Aquinas. Davis already has 20+ offers including ones from Florida, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Oregon.

“My Coach Roger Harriott told me that Coach Partridge offered me. This offer from Pitt is big because of the relationship I have begun to build with Coach Partridge when he was at Florida Atlantic,” said Davis.

“I will begin to plan visits after spring and Pitt will be one I would love to visit.”

“Getting offers early is great because you see the work you put in is being recognized but it also reminds me to humble myself and stay grounded and never stop working no matter how many offers I receive.”

Tyler Steen: 2018 defensive tackle from St. Thomas Aquinas HS. Steen’s (6-foot-5, 260 pounds) only other Power Five offer is from Illinois.

Deporess Schletty: 2018 defensive tackle from Alpharetta, Georgia. This is Schletty’s first Power Five offer.

Marcus Rosemy: 2020 wide receiver from St. Thomas Aquinas HS. Rosemy has also been offered by Illinois.

“My head coach told me about the offer. I’m extremely grateful and thankful for receiving the offer,” said Rosemy. “It’s really exciting to know that all the hard work I’ve put in is paying off and that I’m starting to get noticed by college coaches so it’s a really exciting feeling.”
