The momentum that Keith Dambrot is bringing to the Duquesne basketball program continues as they pick up a 2018 recruit today.

Dylan Swingle a 6-11, 305 pound forward from Bainbridge, Ohio gave a commitment today to the Dukes.

247 Sports ranks Swingle was a 3-star recruit and one of the top ten 2018 recruits in Ohio. Aside from Duquesne, Swingle also held offers from West Virginia, George Washington and Akron.

This was an impressive get for Duquesne because many thought Swingle was a heavy lean towards Bob Huggins and the Mountaineers. Swingle was also talking to Kevin Stallings and Pitt and many believe Pitt were on the verge of offering.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

This is Duquesne’s first commitment for the Class of 2018.

Check back because we’re scheduled to interview Swingle later this evening.
