Pitt Baseball Begins Practices

PITTSBURGH — For their first practice of the 2018 season, the Pitt baseball team lucked out on Friday afternoon, as the Panthers worked outdoors at Charles L. Cost Field under clear, bright skies and 60-degree temperatures.

Pitt manager Joe Jordano and his squad will start their season on Friday, Feb. 16 against Oakland in Kissimmee, Florida. The Panthers’ home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13 against Youngstown State.
