Nicholas Kratholm Leaving Duquesne

Published

A member of last year’s recruiting class has decided to leave the Duquesne basketball program.

Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that freshman forward Nicholas Kratholm will be transferring from the school.

The 6-foot-8 forward came to Duquesne from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida with the profile as a skilled forward with an outside game.

Last season, Kratholm saw action in nine games but only two of the last 24. In the game against Pitt, he hit two second half 3-point shots.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

With the addition of forwards Dylan Swingle, Gavin Bizeau, Austin Rotroff, Amari Kelly, Mike Hughes and Marcus Weathers to next year’s roster, this news isn’t very surprising.

This news puts Duquesne right at the required 13 scholarship limit for next season.
