Pitt registered a win on the field this weekend but took a loss in a recruiting battle.
On Saturday, Sharpsville (PA) 4-star offensive tackle Ja’Quay Hubbard made his college decision and selected Virginia over Pitt and two other teams.
I’d be lying if I said the decision didn’t surprise me as I was almost certain he’d end up picking the Panthers.
