A candidate to fill Pitt’s need for a tight end was in town this weekend.
3-star tight end Jeffrey Blake from Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Georgia confirmed to Pittsburgh Sports Now on Saturday morning that he was in town this weekend for an official visit to Pitt.
Blake (6’4″, 230) is currently committed to Vanderbilt but didn’t officially sign with them during the first signing period in December.
Over the last year, Blake received offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, North Carolina, Purdue, South Florida, Syracuse, Virginia and Wake Forest.
