BOSTON — “Obviously, a really poor offensive performance from us. We didn’t shoot the ball well. That’s an understatement.”
Pitt men’s basketball coach Jeff Capel didn’t have a lot more insight to provide into his team’s eight straight loss — a 66-57 setback at the hands of Boston College on Tuesday night.
The Panthers shot a season-low 29 percent from the floor while taking a season-high 37 3-point shots. But Capel said that “more than half” of them were wide open.
Pitt just couldn’t get the ball to fall.
