It’s a good day for Pitt as they land a big offensive lineman.
2020 3-star offensive tackle Michael Statham (6’6”, 320) from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland gave a verbal commitment to Pat Narduzzi’s program.

Statham and his family traveled to Pittsburgh for today’s Spring Game and gave Pitt the news at the end of the game.
Prior to committing, Statham held offers from LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri and Syracuse and West Virginia.
Pitt must have really made an impression on Statham considering he received an offer from them on March 18.
Statham becomes Pitt’s 2nd commitment in their Class of 2019 and their biggest commitment from an offensive lineman since Jake Kradel in 2018.
Great news! We need him!
