UPDATE (8:15 PM) — Robert Morris coaches at the OHSBCA Showcase became the first to offer a forward from an Ohio powerhouse among two offers handed out.
Alex Williams, a Class of 2021 forward from Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, received his first Division I offer from the Colonials on Saturday.
Williams is listed at 6-foot-4 and averaged 8.4 points and 2.6 rebounds as a sophomore with the Crusaders in 2018-19.

The Colonials also offered 2020 point guard C.J. Anthony from Harvest Prep in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Anthony holds offers from Air Force, Stony Brook, Toledo and Towson.
UPDATE (7:15 PM) — It’s a double double for the 2020 First Love Christian Academy backcourt of DJ Gordon and Isaiah Wilson, as both players received two major offers on Saturday.
Penn State has offered 2020 First Love Christian Academy guard DJ Gordon, his second offer of the day on Saturday while playing in a Nike EYBL event.
Rutgers also extended an offer to Gordon on Saturday. He as a local offer from Pitt to go along with major offers from Arizona State, DePaul, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Providence, TCU, Virginia Tech and Wichita State.
Wilson, who earlier picked up an offer from St. Bonaventure, has also received an offer from DePaul, his second Big East offer. He received a Georgetown offer last Sunday, his first high-major offer. He also has offers from Bryant, Drexel, Hofstra, Kent State, La Salle, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Peter’s and Winthrop.
UPDATE (7:00 PM) — Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot has extended an offer to 2020 Jeffersonville, Indiana wing Tre Coleman.
Coleman, a 6-foot-5 small forward, has offers from Ball State, Indiana State, Kent State, Nebraska and New Orleans.
UPDATE (6:30 PM) — Former Blackhawk and Louisville baseball star Brendan McKay made a big splash in his MLB debut for the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday.
McKay, 23, is expected to be a two-way player in the majors, as he was throughout Tampa’s system after being selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft.
But he made his debut on the mound and he worked a perfect game into the sixth inning against the Texas Rangers on Saturday. McKay finished six scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and one walk. He struck out three.
With Triple-A Durham, McKay had a 1.08 ERA over five games and also sported a .951 OPS. The Rays haven’t announced how they’ll use McKay offensively in the majors.
UPDATE (6:00 PM) — Former Pitt guard Brad Wanamaker is set to become an NBA free agent, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wanamaker, 29, spent seven seasons playing overseas before joining the Celtics before the 2018-19 NBA season. He played in 36 games with Boston, averaging 3.9 points, 1.6 assists and 1.1 rebounds per game.
UPDATE (5:30 PM) — The college basketball evaluation weekend continues with second big offer to a local player on Saturday for a First Love Christian Academy guard came to 2020 point guard Isaiah Wilson.
Wilson picked up an offer from St. Bonaventure, his second offer in a week’s time and fourth from an Atlantic-10 school.
The 5-foot-11 Pittsburgh native received a Georgetown offer last Sunday, his first high-major offer. He also has offers from Bryant, Drexel, Hofstra, Kent State, La Salle, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Peter’s and Winthrop.
UPDATE (5:00 PM) — Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett is at the Manning Passing Academy this weekend, a prestigious passing camp run by the legendary family of quarterbacks.
Pickett, a rising junior at Pitt that’s entering his second full season as starting quarterback, was prominently featured in the academy’s highlights.
UPDATE (3:30 PM) — It’s another evaluation weekend on the AAU basketball circuit and First Love Christian Academy guard DJ Gordon continues to turn heads from high major schools.
A Pitt target, Gordon added an offer from Rutgers on Saturday to go along with major offers from Arizona State, DePaul, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Providence, TCU, Virginia Tech and Wichita State.
The 6-foot-6, 180-pound Pittsburgh native plays for Team Final in the Nike EYBL league.
UPDATE (3:00 PM)- Class of 2020 two-sport Highlands star Johnny Crise camped at Rutgers this month and shared a photo with wide receivers coach Lester Era on Saturday from his visit.
The 6-foot-6, 185-pound athlete has football offers to Albany, Bryant, Duquesne, Fordham, Maine, Robert Morris and William & Mary, and basketball offers to Robert Morris and USC Upstate.
