The Pitt secondary entered the season with high expectations and more the most part, performed well in the opener vs. Virginia.
During today’s media session, Secondary coach Archie Collins, safety Paris Ford and cornerback Damarri Mathis gave a review of the opener and looked ahead to Ohio.
That secondary has a good group of guys in it. The play of Paris Ford and Damarri Mathis stood out against Virginia. That’s a solid group. Steel Valley had another pretty good player back when I was in high school named Charlie Batch.
