**Sophomore cornerback/wide receiver Alex Afari (6’2”, 195) from West Chester, Ohio received an offer today from Randy Bates and Pitt. This is the first D-1 offer for Afari.

**Pat Narduzzi and Tim Salem are in New York today and met with 3-star running back Israel Abanikanda.

**More competition for Pitt as they try and land Georgia 3-star quarterback Tate Rodemaker as today he lands an offer from Baylor. Rodemaker is scheduled to visit Northwestern this weekend and is also considering Virginia and South Florida.

**Junior College forward Clarence Jackson from Polk State College receives an offer from Robert Morris. Jackson (6’7”, 215) is from Irwinton, Georgia also has offers from Akron, Radford, Coastal Carolina, Drake, Florida Gulf Coast and Portland.

**Another offer to a player from Westlake High School in Georgia. 2021 wide receiver Leo Blackburn (6’5”, 210) gets the offer from Archie Collins, which is his first Power 5 offer.

**Pitt extended a scholarship today to 2021 cornerback Demarko Williams (5’10”, 165) from Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Williams holds offers from Minnesota, Georgia, South Carolina and Wake Forest. Williams received the offer from Archie Collins.

**Over the weekend, Butler 2020 OL Nate Cornibe verbally commits to Cornell. He also had a PWO opportunity at Pitt.

**Central Catholic 2020 athlete Gusty Sunseri received a PWO offer from Pitt. He received the same offer last week from Alabama. Gusty is the cousin of former Pitt quarterback Tino Sunseri.

**Peters Township 3-star safety Donovan McMillon visited Miami, Ohio over the weekend and received an offer from them. McMillon’s first offer came from Pitt.

**Pitt extended an offer yesterday to 2021 3-star running back Xavier Coleman (5’7”, 189) from Medford, New Jersey. Coleman holds offers from Baylor, Rutgers, Temple and West Virginia.
**Since they have some time off until their next game, Jeff Capel and his staff are out recruiting. Yesterday, they were in Maryland watching 2021 4-star forward Jakai Robinson from National Christian Academy. Corey Evans from Rivals first reported this.
