Duggan’s two Power Five offers at this point are to Virginia and Virginia Tech but is hoping to hear from Pitt in the very near future.

“This was my third time at Pitt,” Duggan tells Pittsburgh Sports Now. “I’ve been up there for a game and a camp. It’s my spring break and I knew that they have wanted me up this spring so my dad and I came yesterday.”

”Coach Beatty came to my high school in the winter and we talked about football and how he wanted me up on campus this spring. I have also been in touch with Coach Borbely and we talked about when I would come up to campus and a practice. Pitt has done a incredible job of making it available for me to come up during my spring break.”

Although he’s been to Pitt previously, this latest visit for Duggan’s was different because it was very educational as he continued to build his relationship with the Panthers staff.

“My day was packed full. Once I arrived, I was able to go to the meetings and see how Coach  Borbely coaches his players,” said Duggan. “After that, we were taken on a campus tour which was very cool. We came back to see the rest of practice and were able to see their first day in pads.”

”Once that was over, Coach Borbely and I talked over practice and about my recruitment and where we stand. Once that was over, I did a tour of the facility and was in awe. The facilities at Pitt are top notch. It’s such a cool environment to see how close Pitt and the Steelers are.“

This is a busy time for Duggan as Pitt is just one of many visits that he plans on making. Aside from his two offers, he’s also receiving interest from Cincinnati, NC State and Louisville.

Although he left without an offer, Duggan enjoyed the day and it’s likely he makes a return visit to Pitt in the near future.

”I was able to talk to Coach Borbely for the longest as we talked about my recruitment. There is a lot of interest and it’s very mutual. I loved the visit and they were very happy that I could get up on campus. Thank you Coach Beatty and Coach Borbely for having me.”
