A big move for the future of Robert Morris athletics as the university officially announced that on July 1, 10 of their men’s and women’s sports (men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s golf and softball) will be leaving the NEC and joining the Horizon League.
This afternoon at a 1 PM press conference at the UPMC Events Center, RMU President Chris Howard and RMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris King were joined by men’s basketball coach Andy Toole and women’s basketball coach Charlie Buscaglia to talk about the big move and the benefits for the university and their respective programs.
