August 1 is a big day on the NCAA football recruiting calendar.
Although athletes announce offers from programs throughout the year, today is officially the first day teams can send a written scholarship offer to a player.
Starting at midnight, colleges coaches started to officially send offers to both players that have already verbally committed and to players that hope to eventually land.
Here’s a rundown of what’s going on with Pitt.
**Pitt officially offers uncommitted 4-star tight end Jordan Dingle from Bowling Green, Kentucky.
**Pitt officially offers in-committed 3-star Alabama tight end River Helms.
**Pitt continues to pursue Florida 3-star defensive back Aubrey Burks, who’s committed to Indiana. Today, the Panthers officially extended an offer to Burks.

**Uncommitted Ohio 2021 3-star cornerback Tamarion Crumpley receives an offer from Pitt.

**Javon Bullard is an uncommitted 2021 3-star defensive back from Georgia.
**Corey Hammett is a 3-star defensive end from Miami, Florida, who is currently committed to Miami, Florida.
**Jaquez Smith is an uncommitted 2021 4-star wide receiver from Atlanta, Georgia.
