Pitt Panther Talk: Impact of Naquan Brown’s Commitment and More

Published

on

Pitt’s recruiting efforts in the Class of 2021 are entering the final phase with just a few weeks until signing day, and Pat Narduzzi and company made a splash on Friday with the commitment of four-star Virginia defensive end Naquan Brown, who had recently de-committed from LSU.

Brown’s addition has Pitt’s class ranked No. 19 in the country. Will that success be enough to offset the sour feeling Pitt fans have from the team’s 5-5 record on the field this season?

That sour feeling can be offset by Whipple walking the plank.

Yes but next season it’s the same story, good defense but questions at QB and will the offense mount any type of running game? Will the offensive line be better? Will we have a tight end to throw to?

Many questions about the future direction of the offense.

Krull healthy solves the TE. No clue if the line improves. Not sure about the qb situation either. Not sold on Yellen but we had a small sample to go by against Miami and ND. Does Narduzzi go transfer happy again and target Milton?

Want to talk disappointment? Covid screwed up many a team. For every Notre Dame and Coastal Carolina there are two Michigan’s and the team from the Centre of the state.
If Carter doesn’t get hurt, the big running back makes a big difference in the offense. The defense missed Dimarri Mathis.
And does Cinderella (aka Notre Dame) stay within two touchdowns of Clemson if TL played. Stay tuned, rematch in two weeks.
