Pitt was busy recruiting the state of Ohio on Thursday as they extend a couple of offers to two sophomores.
The first offer from Randy Bates went to 2023 wide receiver Anthony Brown from Springfield, Ohio. Brown is a quick, play-making receiver that holds early offers from Minnesota, Eastern Kentucky, Toledo, Cincinnati and Kentucky.
The other one went to physical offensive guard Joshua Padilla (6-foot-4, 265) from Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio. This becomes Padilla’s fourth D-1 offer with the offers coming from Arizona State, Eastern Kentucky and Miami, Ohio.
Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke to Padilla following his phone call with Bates.
