Pitt-Virginia Kickoff and Broadcast Schedule Announced

Published

on

Details were announced overnight for Pitt’s final home game of the 2021 season  The matchup of Pitt and Virginia will have a kickoff time of 3:30 PM and the game will be televised on ESPN2.

Miami’s loss to Florida State means that either Pitt or Virginia will be the 2021-22 ACC Coastal champions. Pitt would clinch the title by beating UVA, and Virginia would win by beating Pitt and Virginia Tech.

The big question for this important game will be the availability of Virginia’s quarterback Brennan Armstrong, who missed last nights game with a rib injury. Virginia normally prolific offense struggled to move the ball all evening long in a 28-3 loss last night.

Aside from the importance of the game, Saturday will also be important because it’s Senior Day for the Panthers.

Let’s Go Pitt ! UVa did not look good offensively without Armstrong. However, ND is fairly stout on D regardless. I know he is banged up but perhaps they were saving him. Last night really had no impact on Coastal or bowl eligibility. I’d be surprised if he wasn’t ready for this one.
