The Pitt basketball program is experiencing a mass exodus, which called for this special edition of Mike’d Up.
Pittsburgh Sports Now’s Pitt beat writer George Michalowski joined Mike Asti and Mike Vukovcan to offer his insight on what triggered Horton’s departure, the pressure currently on Jeff Capel, if this can quickly be turned around in the transfer portal and some possible names that the coaching staff are gong after.
Lyke better take a look at what ism happening with Capel and the BB program

I can’t see the progress so far and will he have enough players to compete next season?

Who didn’t see this happening? Apparently the entire Pitt athletic department? Pitt players were already leaving using this option last year.Pitt basketball fans deserve better than this…
Those leaving are of marginal value and
their departure opens space for higher level
transfers..Hopefully a flrst class point
guard and a tough minded big man liker
those who played for Dixon are among
the arrivals.

You missed the biggest negative in this program: Capel. No one does a better job of running off his players.
Current state = absolute embarrassment
