Pitt Baseball got a commitment from class of 2024 infielder Nick Slogik Wednesday.
Slogik plays baseball for Warwick High School in Lititz, Pa. He helped his team win the 2022 PIAA 6A State Title this past season. For his efforts, Slogik earned First-Team of Section 1 in the Lancaster-Lebanon League.
He currently plays at first base, standing at 6-foot-5 and around 240 pounds. He shows tremendous power at such a young age and should improve over the next two seasons before he heads to Pitt.
This summer, Slogik is playing travel ball with the Keystone St. Bombers and is developing his game. Slogik also plays football and features at the defensive end position.
