The Pitt Panthers will take on what may end up being their toughest opponent of the season, aside from Miami, this coming weekend.
The Tennessee Volunteers (1-0) travel to Acrisure Stadium and have been installed as early five-point favorites over the nationally ranked Panthers.
Josh Heupel and the Vols will bring an explosive offense, led by quarterback Hendon Hooker, and will no doubt test the Pitt defensive, which just gave up 31 points to West Virginia in the season opener.
Regardless of the outcome, this shapes up to be an exciting game to watch and one that the Pitt coaches plan on inviting plenty of recruits to come see in person.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has started contacting players to see if they plan on making a visit this Saturday.
Here is the list of names that we’ve gathered, and we’ll add to this list as we get more confirmations.
