Pitt Reveals Uniform for Johnny Majors Classic Against Tennessee

Published

on

The second Johnny Majors Classic deserves a classic uniform, and that’s exactly how Pitt will dress against Tennessee.

Pitt will wear its Blue-Gold uniform against Tennessee Saturday afternoon, donning gold helmets, blue jerseys and gold pants against the Volunteers.

Tennessee will be the first SEC school ever hosted at Acrisure Stadium, and it will be a game with extremely high stakes for both sides. With a No. 17 vs. No. 24 matchup, a win for either side sets the foundation for a rise up the rankings and potential elite status in college football.

It’s also the second and potentially final Johnny Majors Classic — the name of the two-game home-and-home series honoring former Tennessee player and head coach and former Pitt coach Johnny Majors.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Acrisure Stadium, and for those tuning in at home, the national broadcast will be televised on ABC. The crew of Sean McDonough, Todd Bleckledge and Molly McGrath will call the game for ABC. The radio call will come from 93.7 the Fan and Pitt Panthers Radio Network.
