PITTSBURGH — On Saturday night, Pitt took down Syracuse in front of a sold-out Petersen Events Center crowd, 99-82.
On senior night, the Panthers’ vets showed out. Nelly Cummings had 14 points and 13 assists. Jamarius Burton had 14 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. Greg Elliott had 19 points and five threes. Nike Sibande added 10 points — including a thunderous slam off an inbounds pass from Cummings that blew the roof off the Petersen Events Center.
