WATCH: Federiko Federiko Updates Injury Status, Says He is Feeling Better

GREENSBORO, N.C. —   Ahead of Pitt’s round of 64 matchup against six seed Iowa State, Pitt’s Federiko Federiko updated his injury status with Pittsburgh Sports Now.

Federiko missed Pitt’s First Four game against Mississippi State due to a knee injury suffered against Georgia Tech in the ACC Tournament Freshman Guillermo Diaz-Graham started in his place, playing a career-high 37 minutes and coming up with a huge block in the final seconds of Pitt’s victory.

The Finnish big man is averaging seven points and more than five rebounds per game in his first season with the Panthers.

No. 11 Pitt takes on Iowa State on Friday, March 17 at 3:10 p.m live from Greensboro.
