Duquesne basketball will add another walk-on to the roster from the Pittsburgh area.

Former Allderdice (Pittsburgh) guard Ethan Anish announced that he will join the Dukes this upcoming season as a freshman. Anish is a 6-foot-1 combo guard who scored 14 points per game as a senior for the Dragons, who were 21-4 on the season and won the City League title over Obama back in February.

Anish’s successful senior campaign earned him Coaches’ All City League Team honors.

He joins a Duquesne squad that has added Andrei Savrasov, Hassan Drame, and Fousseyni Drame from the transfer portal so far this offseason. Former Dukes Kevin Easley (Coastal Carolina), Devin Carney (Denver), Maceo Austin (Slippery Rock), Quincy McGriff (UTSA), and Jaylen Cole-Williams (Uncommitted) all entered the portal this offseason from the program.
